Help with 3dfx

I'm trying to configure my 3dfx Voodoo3 3000 AGP on Mandrake 8.0 ... The whole night :mad: ...
I've found some error in the XFree86.0.log :
(WW) Open APM failed
(==) TDFX(0): Write-combining range (0xe8000000,0x2000000)
(II) TDFX(0): Textures Memory 6.24 MB
(EE) TDFX(0): DRI requires Voodoo3 or later, disabling DRI.

Can anyone help ?

I'm not sure if this will help with your 3dfx issue, but it did with mine. I'm running Mandrake 8.0 and had a pain of a time getting it to drive a VooDoo 5/5500 until I installed the latest XFree86 version. This smoothed out most of my problems. (I've still got some... but it did fix most of 'em)
The install for XFree86 is pretty well documented on http://www.XFree86.org, and I found it to be an easy one to perform.
