Linux Printing

OK, another real newbie question. I've installed 2 printers, a local and a network. I get no errors when I go to print off either one, however my jobs just seem to go out into "que land" someplace and never print out. What's the story with this?

We really need more information from you to help with this problem, like what distro are you running? What did you define at the spool directory? What does the printer do or not do? you said you can print to them fine, but then say they dont print, huh??
