X font server problem.

I have a strange problem.
XFS is starting automatically at startup, it says Starting X Font server [ OK ]
Then when I startx it says "no x font server" or something.
When I shutdown/reboot it says Stopping X Font Server [ FAILED ]
If I open another console and run xfs manually, and then go back and startx, everything works OK.
I tried to start/stop XFS with ntsysv, but still have the same problem.
Do you have any ideas what's wrong here? :rolleyes:

Personally I don't know what to suggest except that various font server problems have been covered in quite a few topics here and also searching at www.google.com/linux (http://www.google.com/linux) for the specific error will most likely give you the solution.
