Hi,
I tried to recompile my kernel with a new patch (2.4.6-ac5).
make dep - fine
make clean - fine
make bzImage - "Fatal error: Symbol tr_setup already defined" followed by three other errors only stating the file/foldernames: net_init.o, first_rule, _subdir_net, _dir_drivers
It makes (sort of) sense since the patch was supposed to support my Token Ring ISA-card.
How do I get rid of these messages.
Do I have to delete ("... already exists...") something first before I can compile the kernel?
Thanks for your help,
cbfunky
PS: Kernel version 2.4.6 patch ac5
distro: SuSE 7.0
