Missing Base System Package!?????

I am installing Mandrake 8. And during the partitioning process I get an error saying that I am missing a base system package. I have tried to install Red Hat and had to many problems with that. Can anyone help me with this Mandrake error?

did you download the mandrake 8.0 ISO if so which one because I'm sure that happened with my installation because I downloaded the mandrake-inst.iso and the mandrake-ext.iso or something like that has more packages to install.

It's kinda hard to troubleshoot a problem with little information.

Did you d/l the iso's and burn your own cd's? If so, then I would verify the iso first using md5sum (http://www.linuxnewbie.org/nhf/intel/security/md5.html) as you could have a corrupted iso.
