I have an older computer that doesn't have a ps/2 mouse port and I have a ps/2 mouse. Is it possible to get the mouse working in Linux using one of those ps/2 to serial converters? I'm running RedHat 7.0. I've tried running XF86Setup, but can't seem to get anything working.

I've done so on my laptop with a PS/2 mouse connected to the serial converter. Just had to change XF86Config under the mouse device. ttyS1 or something like that. I looked it up at http://www.xfree86.org/current/mouse.html
