RPMS suck, apt-get rocks and damn Debian for using ancient versions of everything.

How do I upgrade Xfree86 from 4.0.3 to 4.1.0 using RPMS? Earlier I downloaded the Xlibs, and Xfree86 RPMs and attemped my install which was shot down complaining about the Xfonts. So I installed all three and saw that only the fonts had really gotten installed and all my letters for apps looked like boxes. What is the proper way to install the RPMs and no I'm not looking for www.debian.org (http://www.debian.org) :cool: Debian :cool: or :cool: Slackware :cool: :D :D
