Mandrake 7.2 & USB Intellimouse Explorer

Wouldn't you know that the entire install would go just peachy and that it would be one small annoying thing that would try to ruin it ;)

I just finished installing Man 7.2 and my mouse works. With the exception of the scroll wheel.

Any ideas???

Your Pointer section in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 should have this:
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"

or if you're not using Xfree 4 /etc/X11/XF86Config should have

ZAxisMapping "4 5"

Also make sure your mouse is set up as IMPS/2. It's easy to set up with mouseconfig.


Just out of curiosity, how did you get your USB mouse to work? I have a logitech mouseman optical, and mandrake will not start it at all when it's plugged in the usb port.
