Modem, kppp, and Netscape

im using an US robotics 56K EXT modem for Openlinux 2.2. The modem dials up fine, speed a little low, but ok. but when i go to Netscape, it cant go to any websites! I configured it under LISA correctly as COM 2 and COM 1 is my serial mouse. But on a upnote, i did get my sound blaster 16 to work :)

Verify that you have your isp's dns servers setup in /etc/resolv.conf

domain your_isp_domain_name
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx # isp dns 1
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx # isp dns 2
