Samba

Samba is giving me some issues. I run "samba start" it gives the OK on both services, but then I run "samba status" and it states both services are stopped. Any clue why this is? I'm running redhat 7.1, networking is ok.

Just for the heck of it run

smbd
nmbd

Then samba status just to make sure samba start is actualy starting it

The Samba Server is running but tells you that it isn't?? I have had this problem with swat...it told me that samba (smbd&nmbd) aren't running, but they worked fine...

If all is OK ignore it... :rolleyes:
