PPP not connecting with Redhat 7

My PPP server will not connect since I installed RH 7 from 6.2. I am using diald-0.16.4-1.i386 with wardial-1.0-1.i386. It dials but does not connect. Behave's like my password is wrong but when i use the same username and password on windows it works fine. Any highlights on what major differences there are btwm 6.2 and 7? :confused:

what does the log say?

is it incorrectly setup as pap or chap?

could be that its setup as chap?
