I finally got Linux Mdk 8.0 loaded after 6 trys...Partition problems and Dualboot problems.

Now I got a list of other stuff that is just not working. Any help or ideas?

SuperDisk LS-120 Floppy Drive:
Linux has detected it..I chked LinuxConfig.
I can read/write from it..but strangely I cant eject any floppy disk. No eject from Consule or KDE? I have to reboot and while it does POST , I can then eject.

Printer does not Print:
I have a Samsung Laser Printer ML-4500
During Linux mdk8.0 install I configured it and also test printed just fine. While in Linux I cant print any file format. It flashes quickly a "printing page 1 thru 6" message...then nothing.

Geforce3 Card:
I know are are many ways to install this
card in linux. Ive been to the evil3d.net site and have the both the RPM GLX and Kernel drivers and the Tar Versions of both. Since I dont know any Unix I'm Completely lost. I am trying to follow install instuctions but all I have seen assume some level of knowledge I dont have.

Not detecting Iwill RAID Card:
which isnt to much of a problem since I loaded Linux as a partition on my 12G IDE HD.
But it could be the cause of very slow Start up and Shutdown, I'm not sure.

Cant configure LAN and Cable Modem:
I have 2 3Com Ethernet Cards same brand just each is a different model.
(etho) Is for my LAN its connected to my wifes PC running Win98. As their not the same OS I assume they cant connect. That ok all I'm trying to do is disable this NIC. I've tryed LinuxConfig and unchecked the enable box for this card. Whiling trying to change these settings (forget what Linux calls this) It timesout, result is no change and it keeps detecting the LAN NIC.
Cable Modem is (eth1) I've tryed ever combo
using the Mandrake Config Tool or whatever.
I have the correct IP and Gateway addresses, becuase I've called the Cable Provider to double chk.(RoadRunner Wi.).

I sorry thats alot of Questions, but I've done all I can to get Linux running. I want badly to like this OS and start using it and learning more about it but its been a very tough start.

Ok, dont know bout the printer, sure someone else will, printers in general are a pain to me, on any os. for the superdisk, try doing a 'eject superdisk' at the terminal, should work. for the LAN, you sure can talk to the windows box with linux, and vice versa, why do you want to disable one of the nics? give some more info about your lan, and ill see if i can figure out somethin for ya, but the 'eject superdisk' should work i think ..

When you were done reading and writing to the disk, did you unmount the drive before trying to eject?
