XAWTV Question

I am getting an error message when i try and ./configure Xawtv.

(n) curses library found

i have no idea what library this is supposed to be.

also for future reference, what is the default boot loader for Mandrake 8.1?

Could that be the ncurses libraries. Does the xawtv documentation have anything on the requirements?

is xawtv not provided as a rpm on the install disks?
