Mailto won't send to ISP

Hello,

I previously asked about this in Software but maybe I should have posted here.

I am using Mandrake 7.2 and when I send a message with mailto, it tries to send it via the mail handler on my local machine (which isn't set up) instead if sending it to the SMTP server of my ISP.

Please could anyone tell me how to set this up.

You have to set up an SMTP server on your machine for everything to work correctly. You can set up a full mailserver like Sendmail or Exim, or you can set up one of the simple pseduo-SMTP servers that simply forward mail to another SMTP server, like your ISP's.

what are one of the pseduo mail programs that I could run this with to forward my mail?
