Can you have a Win98 and redhat 6.2 dual boot and be able to see your files on your windows partition from your redhat partition.

You will find an answer to your question and how to do it. Nobody here minds answering the same questions over and over again, but they came up with a solution... Create Newbieized Help Files for all to see (NHF's). A great source of knowledge and recommended reading for all. Also the FAQ's should be read.
