Voodoo 5 5500 pci Problem Help!!!

When I installed RH 6.1 I had a voodoo 5500 in my system and it took forever to get the X server to like the settings. Well know in x windows the screen res is so bad that the menu bar takes up most of the screen. How do I fix screen res?

That version is definitely older than you vid card, so I would suggest you upgraded your distro.

Sorry as I make it a habit not to respond to anyone that has crossposted their question even if they have not received any help in their other post. Can't go against my own rules now, can I.

You have to post once in the appropriate forum and be patient as sometimes the one that could know the answer may not be online.

The suggestion you got is probably the best solution though.
