I have 2 hard drives. Primary 30gig HD currently has windows on it. Secondary 6gig HD has RH7.1.

My goal is to partition the primary HD into 2 sections (15 gigs for windows, 15 gigs for Debian) while leaving RH7.1 unharmed on the 2nd drive. I want to install Debian in order to do a customized install of linux.

Is this possible? Will a boot manager give me the options to load Windows, Debian, or RH (the only experience I've had with boot managers is the automated one installed with RH7.1)? Will I need to do a custom job on the standard boot manager that Debian installs?

So your using the bootloader included with Redhat?

Then install Debian and let that bootloader install to the Debian root '/' partition. You will need to update the bootloader config (/etc/lilo.conf) in Redhat to add a stanza for booting Debian.
