RH6.1 to RH7 upgrade

[Question]

i am going to upgrade to rh7 from 6.1 . can i just install it over 6.1 or do i need to take 6.1 "off" first? also, i have heard that rh7 sucks and not to install .0 versions. i want to do this upgrade to get practice installing linux and check out the new version. also i have seen some reports of rh7 and its adsl setup and i'm having a hard time with that in 6.1. thanks.

you can upgrade directly, i don't know if it will work properly or not, but you certainly don't need to do anything extra (i.e. wipe rh6.1). i don't know how much rh7 sucks or not, it uses a different gcc, there are several updates at redhat.com.
