I just intalled Mandrake 8.1 and at first everything seemed ok. I first used the interenet sharing wizard and it worked fine and all my computers could get on the web. But after I used the firewall wizard I could not access webmin any longer. I am assuming it blocked the port. The firewall wizard said it was using tiny friewall, but I cannot figure out how it is configured so I can manually not block some ports. Also my samba isnt working. My 2000 machine can see it, but everytime I try to browse it says, not accessible. One time when I booted a lot of things did not come up for some reason, but samba did and only then did it work. Im not sure if this is associated with my firewall problem.

I have no idea about Mandrake 8.1 and the firewall it uses.

Why not just try the online documentation Mandrake has available at www.linux-mandrake.com (http://www.linux-mandrake.com) to see if there is anything on setting up the firewall and how to change settings.

I'm not sure this will help or not but have a look at this and see if you can get something out of it... http://www.mandrakeforum.com/article.php?sid=1240&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0
