hi there,
ive got an asus 7100 agp video card and mandrake 8.0. i installed some packages (games) with it that required 3d acceleration. my card supports that but when i play the game, the framerate is really really bad, its like the card is not using a 3d accelerator driver or something. how do i get this going, i dont mind reinstalling the whole thing, in case i missed some packages or something like that, so if anyone can help please do.
just to mention, when i installed it, i chose xfree 4.0.3 but i had no options asking if i want 3d acceleration turned on or not.

You'll need to download the kernel module and GLX drivers from http://www.nvidia.com then follow the instructions either on their site, from the NHF here on LNO or at http://www.evil3d.net to get them installed. Once they're installed though OpenGL games run great.

awesome, this was way too easy, if anyone needs help, no problems. i actually tried doing this before, with mandrake 7.2 but updating xfree was a pain, and somehow it didnt work for me.
thanks for your help.
