I'm trying to install Debian 2.1 on a 486SX that only has ISA ports. I have 2 NICs that I can use with it: a DE205, and a ne2k compatable. I had the ne working on another 486 but sadly, I blew out the mother board. On this computer, though, I can't get it to work. When I get to configure modules, I go to net, then to ne2k compatable module, type in io=0x340 just like on the old computer, but this time it tells me it can't be found. So I'm assuming I have the wrong IO. But how the hell am I supposed to know what IO it is? There's no settings on the card or anything... as for the DE205, Digital Etherworks III driver works for the DE203, 204, and 206 but not the 205  or maybe it does, and maybe I'm just not reading it right  Does anyone know what I can type in in the Command Line Arguments box thingy that'll make the installer automatically detect the damned IO for me? The DE205 has an option for 200h, 280h, EISA, and EEPROM, but I'm not sure what those do. Anyone have any ideas?
