I'm very new to the Linux world and am trying to create a network bridge from Qwest ISP to a Linux box loaded with a 3Com integrated ethernet, the DSL Modem, and a D-link NIC, to a 12 port SMC Ethernet hub to 11 windows '95 complete with D-link cards. It's a volunteer project for a church who wants to provide basic computer instruction to the underprivilaged members of the congregation and as part of a inner city neighborhood outreach. Funds are limited and all of the equipment and software has been donated. It was recommended that Smoothwall 0.9.9 be installed on the one box to complete the networking and communications network. My first problem is finding a driver for the modem quest provided because Smoothwall doesn't even have a provision for a DSL Modem, except for a USB type.
Can anyone help with this. I know, I know, I may be opening a can of worms with this configuration, but as I've said, funds are limited.
