Shadoglare 07-02-2001, 01:50 PM toast.net YaRness 07-02-2001, 01:53 PM earthlink, although i don't have a linux box dialing up to it at the moment. simple PPP connection though, no bull**** software (not unless you want it), etc etc. had 0 problems with it. jaygee432 07-02-2001, 02:45 PM AT&T has worked well for me - significant discount for Sam's Club card. MandK_10 07-02-2001, 06:36 PM I use a local ISP that is part of Supernova systems. It is called Coolsky. $18 month, email and no problem using my linux system. Craig McPherson 07-02-2001, 07:42 PM I used a local (well, regional) ISP of somewhat variable quality. It got bought out by Earthlink, and service has improved marginally (but only when I dial into an Earthlink number, my old ISPs number is still crap), as well as the price going down a bit. Earthlink's decent, I suppose. ronmon 07-02-2001, 09:19 PM BellSouth DSL :) solo 07-02-2001, 10:01 PM Earthlink. My price just went up $2/mo (includes 7 more mail boxes that I didn't ask for, or need). They do have marginal Linux support (in my experience anyway). Almost never a busy signal, and never kicked offline in >7 years. johnmann 07-02-2001, 10:26 PM I use Prodigy which has been an excellent ISP.Also use Roadrunner which is cable and very good to. justlinux.com
