GNOME lost on mandrake !

I'm a newbie and just plaing with my new installed linux .
when I logged in today , I've noticed that I don't have Gnome option in login manager , just KDE and failsafe !
what happened to gnome ? how can I restore it ?
notice that I used KDE , and not used gnome.

Its been awhile since I used kde,but log into kde as root and in the menu under
settings---->applications---->login manager
you will find you can add other entries.
