The floppy boot disk I created during install was corrupted. How do I make a new one? I'm running Slack 7.1
Thanks!

There are a few ways, depending on what kind of boot disk you want. The easiest and cheesiest is
dd if=/vmlinuz of=/dev/fd0
as root. Be sure to have a victim floppy in the drive.

I guess you didn't read the NHF's here that so many nice people have prepared for us.

Try this for a quick boot disk:
lilo -b /dev/fd0
Be sure and have a blank floppy inserted.
Hope this helps.
