Hi, I have Red Hat 7 installed and I compiled the 2.4 kernel for support for my network card. I have @home, and it uses dhcp, so... in linuxconf I have my hostname set to cx######-a, and under basic host info, I have Enabled checked, and DHCP selected, I have chosen the appropiate driver (tulip) for my net card, and it's set to eth0. The problem is when I boot into linux. It pauses at "Bringing up interface eth0", it stays there for a few minutes and says it can't determine IP information. When I get into linux, I can type "dhcpcd -h cx######-a" and then I will be able to connect to the net, but how can I fix this problem so that it will do it automatically when it boots? I'm doing the same I did on my last mandrake dist., thanks.

Try pump -i eth0
