I was wondering if this has happenned to anyone else out there:
It seems that when in gnome as the DM I get an unresonsive system after about 15 minutes of non-use. It's like instead of going into "Sleep" mode it goes into "Coma" mode.
This doesn't seem to happen in anyother DM or WM. Just Gnome. For a test i went ahead and left Gnome on over lunch. I got back to a familiar Black screen (that part seems normal)but couldn't get the computer to respond to mouse or keyboard. I couldn't even get the leds on the keyboard to light. After a Hard Boot I logged in and used Enlightenment by itself. I left it alone for an hour. I came back to the Black screen (as per usual) but this time i nudged the mouse and all is okay in E-world.
I've since stopped using Gnome. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
