Need help wiht Driver and Login Problems

I cant log in to KDE cuz it tels me my Display cant handel 24bbp or somthing like that...i cant find the drivers for my Moneter and also how do i get the Java Part to work..i have it Enabled and i get an ERROR that it cant find the Java program or somthing :) :mad: :mad: :)

Have you tried to reconfigure X using something like xf86config? Either use that to change from 24bit to 16 or manually edit your /etc/XF86Config and change to 16bit.

You don't need drivers for your monitor. Only the specs are required when configuring.

You could try searching the web for your monitor if you don't have the manual or www/xfree86.org may have yours listed.
