The open ssh rpm readme says that it was compiled using RH6.2. What sort of trouble am I running into by installing it on my box that runs RH 6.0 Has anyone run it successfully on a RH 6.0 machine?

How difficult would it be to compile myself and would someone be kind enough to explain or direct me to the place where I could find out how to compile it into RH 6.0

I think the main difference between the two is the glibc version - 2.1 vs. 2.1.2 or .3

Use the source. Its easy.

Make sure you have openssl installed first, then do openssh.
