Im in the process of configuring a freesco router and for some reason I can't get any changes to write to the drive. I can see the changes when I cat the file, after editing, but they disappear after I reboot. The variables I enter during setup are saved, so I must be missing something stupid. Anybody?

I haven't used Freesco, so correct me if I'm wrong. But doesn't it use a floppy? If so, then any changes you make on the filesystem needs to be saved on the floppy. So if you're changing /etc/resolv.conf for instance, then you should add the changes you made to the one in the floppy.

mount shows /dev/fd0 on /mnt. cd into /mnt and the only accessible dir's are under /mnt/router. So far this seems to make sense because one of the dirs is etc. So I make a test dir in /mnt/router/etc and reboot and its gone. Im feeling really stupid but I cant figure this out.
