I am in the process of porting network STREAM driver from solaris to LInux. I would like to know if Linux supports STREAMs. If so where can I get details on this.
hoping to hear soon

Linux Kernel does not have inbuilt support for STREAMS framework. However you may want to check out Linux Streams (LiS) implemented and maintained by Dave Grothe and can be downloaded from www.gcom.com (http://www.gcom.com)
It is just the framework and as such there is no support for terminal I/O subsystem or for TLI interface to TCP/IP protocol stack.
