(disclaimer: sorry if this is somewhat incoherent, i'm newly additcated to linux and have been sitting in front of the computer for hours...)
I am in the process of trying to configure my mail server to send and receive messages from the Netscape mail program. I have sent test emails from netscape to one of my web-based addresses, and they have worked fine. However, when I click "Get Msg", I get an error message that says "Netscape is unable to use the mail server because you have not provided a username. Please provide one in the preferences and try again". I have specified various usernames trying to get it to work, but so far I have had no success. Does anyone know what is going on?
