celeron kernel ?

I have a celeron 366 that I am trying to compile a kernel for. For some reason if I do not chose smp I get an error making bzImage. The error is about ksyms. It is the older celeron type(pentium 2).

It can be handy to read the documentation that came with the kernel. Also check the configuration of your default kernel. It's just a matter of adding / removing stuff to the kernel.
