My question is can i run my guest OS(rh 7.1) from other machine but both of my machines re same network segment? if yes, and how am i going to browse the virtual machine from my win2k? Thank you.

Your best bet would be to use VNC (http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/index.html).

The answer is no, it is only meant to be a virtual machine on a local station.

I've read on VMware's support that you can share a virtual machine between hosts via a shared network drive. Never tried it though.

The problem is that it requires about 300% more bandwidth than vnc or xnest. It is not a viable option.

You are correct sir...basically it uses Xnest to do it in linux though, a tool you already have access to.
