It bothers me. I just don't like it to be there doing nothing but reminding me of Windows.

Is there a way to make it do something? (I might even put a sticker on top of it to block that symbol off)

just assign it a new variable. I think I saw a how-to on keyboard assignments or similar topics in the nhf section

Go to your local dollar store or drug store and look for some stickers. I am sure that you could find something appropriate.

You could rip it out and burn or maybe mail it to microsoft with a threatening letter.

put the head of a screwdriver under the key and gently apply pressure until it pops off. Burn the button and your clothes. Take a shower and pray that you will not burn in hell for having it on your keyboard.

Uhh, bind it to a program that runs something that looks like a BSOD and restarts your computer :)

If you use Sawfish, it's actually very useful: Win-Tab cycles programs windows, Win-Drag moves a window (you can click on any part of the window), Win-MiddleClick on a window (anywhere on the window) brings up a menu with lots of nice options for the window, etc etc...

As for getting the logo off, some sandpaper might do the job...
