Ahh! I have the boot.img from Red Hat, but I can't get it onto a disk. The file is 1.40MB, but my "1.44 MB" disks only have 1.38 available for some reason. I've tried several disks on more than one computer. Any suggestions? I'm a newbie.

How are you trying to put the image on there? Are you using rawrite.exe under Win/DOS, or dd under Linux? If you're just trying to copy the boot.img file, it'll never work.

I was just trying to copy it. Do you have a link on how to use rawrite? I have W2K Professional FYI, although I have no Linux experience (can you tell :-) )

The rawrite utility will be somewhere on your distros install CD. Look in ? /dosutils.
Should be a README explaining how to use.
