I apologize in advance if this has been covered before, but this has been bothering me for a while...
I installed Red Hat 7.1 a few months ago, before leaving the the country to study abroad for the summer, and being almost Linux-less (thank God the school I was in had Mandrake! yes, I was in France).
Anyway, on returning, I did an ls -a and found that unlike previous versions, this ls sorts dotfiles in line with everything else! I want dotfiles to go first, but I can't find the option.
Is it possible? Do I have to recompile ls or downgrade that package?
I appreciate all help. Thanks in advance
