Partitioning my HDD for Mandrake 8.0 and Windows 98 was a dream, everything went fabulous, and it required -no- setting up on my part. ;)

But.. I have a tiny question. I have a tar.gz file, which when unzipped requires I cd to the /src directory within and execute some commands.

Except, though I can do it in X, how would I unzip/switch to dir in a terminal? Sorry, I'm a newbie. ;)
