??? about eth0 and internet connection

This is odd, when I enable my NIC the kppp daemon dies saying the server did not validate itself. Then I disable the NIC, and I hook up just fine.

I can either use the network, or the internet, but not both at the same time!

Any ideas, could this be in the routing table??? upon startup the eth0 interface opens fine with no errors and closes the same!

I'm stumped!

Well, just checked the routing table, it makes no mention of the eth0 interface.

I wonder if beacuse I have it diasbled in order to get here if that
is the reason it is missing from the table!

Although, I am most likely wrong on that part!
