Ok, I know that 8.0 just came out, but anyone have any idea on the release date of 8.1 and what will be included?

I hope X 4.1.x will be as a start. And maybe kernel 2.4.5 or better.

You want 8.1 already?? 8.0 just came out and its the best version to date. If you want 8.1, dont hold your breath, cus its not coming out for a LONG time. Its not worth releasing a new update because there isnt anything significantly superior than 8.0(ex: xfree86 and gnome 1.4) Learn linux and update your xfree86 and kernel yourself. it aint that hard. GO out and buy a good linux book. The process of upgrading such things are pretty much standard, so it will tell you how to update or upgrade something like your kernel or xfree86.

MandrakeFreq (http://www.linux-mandrake.com/en/mandrakefreq.php3) has all the latest versions from what I've heard.

v.8 is the best so far, except for one thing.. VOODOO users are having a lot of trouble!!! And the people at mandrake seem to be ignoring us!

If my vid card worked flawlessly I'd be happy, but it doesn't.. So I'm hoping in v.8.1 there will be a fix for this..

Yeah, I want 8.1 since too many people are whining about how buggy 8.0 is. Besides, isn't x 4.1 and 2.4.5 worth a new release?
