I have successfully installed WordPerfect 8 (90 day trial) in Redhat
Linux. In Gnome I can launch WordPerfect by using the file manager and clicking on the executable 'xwp'. How do I create an icon or link to launch WordPerfect, and how do I place it on the desktop or in the task bar?

Thanx again!
Ernie :-)

You can add a launcher to the main Gnome panel by right-clicking on it and selecting "Add new launcher." The "Create Launcher Applet" window will appear and you can enter the necessary information there. The important thing is to add the complete path to the xwp executable in the "Command" field. If you need help filling out any of the other fields you can right-click on any other launchers you already have set up (the Netscape launcher for example), select "Properties" and use the data you find there as a guide.
