Hey there, I know you have it commented out on your sources.list, but is there any info as to when the freshmeat site will be available to use with apt-get? That would make a nice addition to the .list.

Well, if you point your FTP client there, you'll see the empty directory. I found out about it a few months ago, along with the information that they'd be putting things in it "soon". I think someone from Slashdot told me that after I asked for additions to the sources.list there, but I haven't heard anything official from Freshmeat about it. I'd recommend just checking the directory once a week or so to see if anything shows up there. Or try to find something on the Freshmeat site about it.

If you can't find anything, I'll try to hunt down the e-mail that told me about that, and ask the fellow if he knows any more about it.
