Hi,
I finally got online using wvdial under slack 7.1 as root, but I can't access /dev/modem or some of the ppp crap in /etc/ppp/ under my actual user account that wvdial needs to actually dial out.
Is it possible to make a group such as 'dialup' or etc, with read and write access to those files and add my user to that group?
Can someone tell me if this'll work, and how to do it? Thanks.
