This is my problem, i installed corel linux last night on my computer. i tried to boot to my linux OS without any success. I perviously used Redhat 6.1 as my Linux OS. With the redhat linux i had a boot disk for when i wanted to boot to that hd. I did not create a boot disk when i installed the Corel linux. Can someone please tell me how to boot to that drive. I also tried changing the boot sequence to allow the linux drive boot without any success.

Little more info on your partitions etc. Dualboot? Anything else you can think of.
Kinda hard to troubleshoot without it...

I don't think my computer is a duel boot. My primary drive is a windows drive. I have my boot sequence boot to that drive. the linux hard drive does not boot when i start my computer up. when i installed corel i told the install to do a clean sweep of that hard drive. I am not sure on what my partitions are set at. I am hoping that the swap is set to 64 MB, the root is set to fill the rest of the hard drive. I hope this is enough i can't think of anything else.

??? Try from the Linux boot prompt 'boot root=/dev/hdb1'. I think that's correct.
Other threads or some of the FAQ's or NHF's may have suggestions.
So you have 2 physical drives? First (primary/master) is dedicated to Windows and the 2nd (primary/slave) is dedicated to Linux?
