When i try to use the man command i get an error:
warning: terminal is not fully functional
does anyone know what that means and more importantly how to fix it. It was working fine b4, i uninstalled a program an it screwed everything up.

What terminal are you using? What's the output of 'echo $TERM'? What program did you uninstall? Does this happen from the console, or using an X terminal emulator?

I am telneting into my box. echo $TERM returns 'dumb'. I don't know what program I unintalled that messed it up. I was uninstalling programs from gnorpm that I thought I didn't need yesterday from home.
This happens from both telneting and the x term window. Any suggestions??
