Files needed to install Debian?

So I'm finally going to bite the bullet and install Debian on my server. But here's the deal:

I don't want to purchase a CD, I want to download the distro and make my own CD; but I can't find any ISO's, and when I go to download the files from their site, I get confused as to which files I need to get.

So what I need is a list from somebody on which files I need to download to get the base system (with compiler, libraries, and apt-get) installed.

Here's the official CD image site: http://cdimage.debian.org/

They make you take a little quiz to determine if downloading a CD image is really what you want to do -- often, it isn't.

Hey thanks guys. I took that quiz and I think I'll do the ftp install, I just wasn't sure what files I needed to do that.
