I believe he is referring to the search engine found at www.google.com (http://www.google.com)

I must say, GOOGLE is one of the most effective search engines out there. Have not used it for Linux problems. However, it is mos def my search engine of choice.

It's also worth mentioning here that google has a linux specific search-engine at www.google.com/linux (http://www.google.com/linux) .
