I have Mandrake 7.1 and it reports that I only have 64Mb RAM. I have 256Mb and cannot access it. Previous responses suggested editing the LILO conf file but I don't use LILO as Mandrake comes with Grub which I find is more user friendly for myself and the other users of the machine.

Help.

Add the "mem=256M" to the end of the "kernel" line in "/boot/grub/menu.lst ".

Should be fine on the next reboot.
