I have mdk7.2 complete installed and am preparing to reformat and reinstall (I did a full blown app install last time and want a lighter installation this time). The tutorial on the mdk site says I should get 3 choices of installation, expert, recomended etc. But I don't get that option how do I? Thanks!

you should have been getting that message in the first few steps of the installation, atleast on the downloadable version. i think the 25$ one only leaves the recommended,
anyway, why dont you just remove the undesirable packages by hand? rpm -e name

ncux....cause there's so freakin many :(
I believe that the 3 types of install are only offered in the Professional or purchased version or whatever it is that's a cut above download. You're still able to do individual package selection though. There's an option to do so when you're selecting what you want on your system (eg Gnome, KDE, Office, Games, etc....)

My brother installed 7.2 yesterday from a downloaded disk and the 3 options came up for him.
