I have mounted my c:drive /mnt/vfat and now can use it to exchange files etc.
I use to be able to access it with the KDE file manager Kfm but as of yesterday this application goes into a working mode -or so it says- (the gear wheel doesn't revolve).
So it appears to be stalled. What do I need to do to get it working again? It does work ok otherwise. I can bring up /mnt/vfat at the shell and see the c:\ drive files so it is still mounted and "there"
